Grade Coordinator Responsibilities
- Serve as an enthusiastic champion for all CHOuting Club trips with other parents in your grade, encouraging them to sign up for trips to ensure a critical mass of participants
- Help identify/recruit 1-2 Trip Leaders for the CHOuting Club trips relevant to your grade:
- Fall hiking trip (AMC hut)
- Winter weekends (Joe Dodge Lodge; Highland Center)
- Spring weekend (Cape Cod; Martha’s Vineyard)
- Stay in touch with the Trip Leader(s) assigned to each trip
- Help manage the Sign up list and Wait list
- Mailchimp email all parents in the grade a few times per year: before bookings open and end, before the add a sibling date, and then those families signed up for trips as those draw near.
- Answer CHOuting Club related questions from parents in your child’s grade or direct them to Club leadership
